Remediation
Remediation is processing that brings a non-compliant or contaminated harvest back inside limits — commonly treating flower to reduce Δ9 THC below 0.3%, or killing microbial contamination with ozone or radiation. It is legal and common, and it is also information a careful buyer wants: remediated flower can lose terpene character, and a hot-then-treated batch says something about the grower’s process control. Vendors rarely advertise it. The tell is often on the COA itself — a retest of the same lot, or Δ9 numbers that moved between reports. Where we can see it, we say it.
