Ceramic Coil

Ceramic coils — porous ceramic wicking oil to an embedded heater — became the cart standard because they heat evenly and avoid burnt-cotton flavor. Two facts belong next to that: cheap hardware still exists and behaves like it (harsh draws, fast degradation), and research has flagged heavy-metal leaching from low-grade cart components into oil, which is precisely what the metals line on a full-panel COA screens. Practical upshot: hardware quality is a health-adjacent variable, not just an experience one, and a vendor who tests finished carts — oil in hardware — is doing the version of diligence that matters.
